City Hall FPL Fee
After a 6+ hour Palm Coast City Council Meeting, the City Council changed its mind to place an FPL Franchise Fee (Tax) on a Non-Binding Referendum. Instead they will put it on a BINDING referendum where residents can decide to raise their already too high electric bill via an FPL Franchise Fee. If this passes, the city will then decide whether to raise the rate up to 6%. Vote NO

Palm Coast City Council will vote on July 18, 2023 at 9:00 am ADOPTING PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES FOR RECALL, CITIZEN INITIATIVE, AND REFERENDUM, PROVIDING PROCEDURES FORPETITION AND ORGANIZING A POLITICAL COMMITTEE 177 A Yes for this vote will allow planning for changing the ordinance so that elected officials can be recalled and the processes by how this is to be achieved.
